Eight MiDiv class winners at Solo Nationals

Eight Midwest Division drivers won their classes at the 2024 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals, Sept. 5-8 in Lincoln, NE.
Three were crowned in the Tuesday-Wednesday competition:
Carla Russo, St. Louis Region, Club Spec Mustang Ladies, Mustang
Chad Stoughton, Wichita Region, Kart Modified Electric, CRG Shockt
Theresa Walton, Salina Region, E Street Ladies, Mazda Miata

Five winners competed in the Thuirsday-Friday action:

Riley Heaton, Nebraska Region, Street Touring Sport, Mazda Miata
Susan Puls, Wichita Region, Classic American Muscle Sport Ladies, Corvette FRC
Craig Wilcox, Kansas City Region, Street Modified FWD, Honda Civic

Wilcox won his eighth national championship, Blume her fifth. Heaton took his fourth win (two in the former Junior Karts),  and Walton her second. Green and Russo won their first championships. Puls, in an undersubscribed class, was declared a nationals winner. Stoughton ran as an exhibition entry.
